World War 1 Centenary Quilt

In 2014, the Sedgefield Family History Group worked on the Centenary World War 1 Memorial Quilt with other societies around the country for the Federation of Family History Societies. The embroidered squares below represent the fallen from Sedgefield and they were incorporated into the quilt which has now travelled widely at various festivals. On the main quilt, the Sedgefield squares are those bordering the red central area and they are identifiable by the red poppies on their design.

These are the ladies from Sedgefield Family History Group who made the squares for the Centenary Quilt project.
